The latest release of the Verizon Cloud gives every Smartphone user another reason to celebrate. The cloud storage acts like a universal storage application that is basically installed on a mobile device, but can be viewed on different electronic devices such as another Smartphone, tablets and PCs. The Verizon Cloud is a downloadable application that offers free back up storage of your favorite music, videos, photos, text messages, contacts, call logs and other important documents, and keeps them in a more secure storage in the Verizon  Cloud. This helps ensure that nothing gets left behind if  you switch to a new phone or if you lose your phone.
Through the Verizon Cloud, your friends or family can view your most treasured files over their own phone, tablets or desktops. Since most of the free storage drives nowadays are offered for online users alone through their PCs, like the famous counterpart Google Drive, Dropbox, Box, etc., the Verizon Cloud is specialized for all kinds of mobile devices. It offers free 500MB storage and the user can just upgrade it to sign up for a monthly plan from 25GB for $2.99 monthly to 125GB for $9.99 monthly. The Verizon’s paid storage service prices are comparable to Dropbox.
You can access your Verizon Cloud through the Internet on your laptop or desktop that runs Windows OS,OS X or Linux. Currently, Verizon Cloud only supports Android but the developers promise to support iOS sooner.
The Verizon cloud app also allows free streaming of music and videos that are stored on the Cloud anytime, anywhere. So, you don’t need to upload your videos on Youtube or download it on your desktop and get your friends to watch the video. With the Cloud, you can just access your videos anywhere on any device through the web.
It is very easy to setup the Cloud app on your phone. You just have to install the app, then choose what you want to back up and upload. Make sure that the files that you are going to back up will not exceed 500MB if you are using a free storage. But if you choose to upgrade to a monthly plan, then your uploading has no limits. You can even set your Cloud backups on autopilot setting in order to keep all of your cloud-connected devices in sync.
Additionally, you can back up your files from your PC or Mac’s hard drive to your Verizon Cloud storage using a separate downloadable app. The app will be then added to the Verizon Cloud, after which, the contents are now viewable on the user’s mobile device.

The Following are the Things Verizon Cloud Can Do to You:

  • The cloud keeps your phone’s content secure and safe in your own private storage.
  • You can access the content whenever you need them, wherever you are, through your Android phone, web or your PC.
  • You can sync videos, photos and more through your Verizon Cloud storage and share them to your family and friends.
  • It backs up the content of your PC, laptop or your Mac’s hard drive using a downloadable desktop client. And you can then access the content on your Smartphone.
